Mickey Ds (Mickey DVDs?) thinks their "RedBox" can make a dent in the business of NetFlix's red envelopes. If Blockbuster couldn't do it, why would anyone think the birger clown can do it? It'll take a better thief than the Hamburglar to steal away business with DVD vending machine.
I'm still waiting for a successful pairing of pizza and movies. No one has yet sparked upon the best way to make this seemingly natural combination work to any profitable execution. Perhaps Blockbuster ought to add a pizza oven in their shop?
OH, and no word on whether RedBox will carry the fastfood flaming film, "Super Size Me".

Don sorry I have to disagree with you on this one. Lately I have noticed the adoption of redbox to have substantially increased. Every time I drive by McD’s I see someone out at that Redbox renting a movie. NetFlix is great for the heavy user but I would say that a majority of people like the ability of just picking up a movie whenever they want. I cant remember the last time I "planned" to watch a movie it is a pretty happenstance thing for me.

Thanks for commenting. Hate to pick the opposite side of the argument during our first conversation, but I'll bet you a McPizza that time will prove this line extension of McD's to be a mistake. Oh, wait... McPizza isn't around anymore. Just like the soon-to-be-extinct RedBox rental idea.
I have a better idea for Ronald and Friends -- how about they simply concentrating on getting my order right once in awhile?
